Effects of Eruption

Negative

• Volcanic lava can and will destroy everything in its path.

• Also, ash and smoke distributed into the air will dirty up the atmosphere.

• Another effect is the land will all be destroyed and might take a very long time to re-establish.

• The population will also be damaged because people who do not evacuate quickly will die.

Positive

• Landscape can be created by the eruption and it can be beautiful.

• Some lava can be high in nutrients, making grounds good for planting.
